Reason for Arsenal vs PSV Predictions

Arsenal have yet to taste defeat in the new season. Their one-goal win away to Everton moved them up to fourth in the Premier League, two points behind leaders Manchester City. The season got off to a great start as they beat Manchester City on penalties and won the Community Shield. Their good form has extended to the Premier League with four wins out of five this season. The only points were dropped when Fulham held them at home. The wins were against Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Everton. Bukayo Saka shows his talent and should be one of the leading players in the future. Gabriel Martinelli showed why he was brought in. He has good dribbling, speed is his advantage, he is the starter in every game, and he scored several important goals last season. Mohamed Elneny (Knee Injury) and Jurrien Timber (Cruciate Ligament Rupture) won’t be able to feature for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.

PSV found themselves in the group stage of the Champions League for the first time since the 2018/19 season. They had to overcome two qualifying hurdles, Sturm Graz and Glasgow Rangers to qualify, winning three and drawing one of their four matches. PSV started the season in the Eredivisie brilliantly, winning all four games. That put them at the top of the table, but only on goal difference from AZ and Twente. During the weekend, they defeated Nijmegen with a score of 4:0, so they scored 13 goals and conceded only one. In the Champions League, PSV won only one of the last five away matches and kept only one clean sheet in the last 15 played.  Johan Bakayoko is the engine of this team, his greatest virtue is speed, he has excellent ball control and can be satisfied with his performance. Luuk de Jong plays excellently, he is fast in the one-on-one game, and he is unstoppable. PSV boss Peter Bosz also has some injuries to deal with ahead of the trip to London. In-form forward Noah Lang faces a fitness test after limping out of PSV´s win against NEC.

Conclusion

Arsenal is the favorite in this match, the Emirates Stadium is an impregnable fortress for many opponents in the new season.

This will be a big fight between these two rivals, and we should expect a goal from both teams. Football fans should enjoy this match and see at least a goal in each net.
