Reason for Everton vs Manchester United Predictions
Everton
Everton got their season off to a storming start with a run of four straight wins and progression to the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup. However, just one point has been earned from the last three league games, with the previous two both lost. Those two defeats were on the road, though, and the Merseyside club is more comfortable at Goodison Park. The only home league loss in the last 15 Premier League games was the previous season’s final day defeat by Bournemouth. Everton has won two and drawn with Liverpool with 17 goals scored in those three matches this season. They have been without James Rodriguez in recent games, and the lack of depth in the Everton squad is clear to see. James Rodriguez is fast, an excellent technician, and everybody has high expectations from the Colombian international. Richarlison is the team’s best player, the Brazilian played great last season, and the big clubs want this player in their squad. Bernard is a great player, and with one move, he can create problems for the opponent. He has excellent dribbling, and in the one-on-one game, he is unstoppable. Top scorer Dominic Calvert-Levin played 36 games, scored 13 goals last season, and this youngster uses every opportunity to endanger the opponent, and a great career is ahead of him.
Manchester United
Manchester United begin the weekend nine points behind the league leaders Liverpool with a game in hand. It’s been a strange season for them so far, with good results in Europe and some shocking results in the Premier League. Only four teams have conceded more league goals than United this season, and remember they’ve only played six matches, four of which have been at home. Just two away league games have been played, and both ended in United victories. They won 3-2 at Brighton and Hove Albion and 4-1 at Newcastle. Throw in an away win at PSG, and they seem to be more comfortable on the road at present. Donny van de Beek has excellent control of the ball, he can play in several positions, and every team needs a player like this. Marcus Rashford is the engine of this team, he goes through the opponent’s defense like a fast train, has excellent ball control, and the English international can be satisfied with his performance.
Conclusion
It will be a big battle between these two teams, and it will not be surprising if the match ends in a draw. We can also expect a goal in both nets, and neither side should keep the clean sheet.
