Everton vs Tottenham Betting Tips & Predictions
Reason for Everton vs Tottenham Predictions
Everton would be in the top four if winning both their games in hand on the top four. The draw away at Manchester United has them in seventh place, just ahead of eighth-placed Tottenham. There won’t be much between these two sides, and a key factor may well be the line-ups both teams decide on. Winning the FA Cup would be another route into Europe, so winning this tie and making it into the quarter-finals should strongly appeal to both sides. To reach this stage, they have had two home wins against Championship sides, Rotherham (extra time required) and Sheffield Wednesday. Everton has only lost one of their last seven league and cup games, with both teams scoring in three of the previous four. Bernard is a great player, and with one move, he can create problems for the opponent. He has excellent dribbling, and in the one-on-one game, he is unstoppable. Top scorer Dominic Calvert-Levin played 36 games, scored 13 goals last season, and this youngster uses every opportunity to endanger the opponent, and a great career is ahead of him.
Tottenham have a great record in the FA Cup when the year ends in 1. Tottenham has had two straightforward ties with wins at non-league Marine and bottom of the Championship Wycombe Wanderers. Now for a much tougher task, but they probably have more chance of success than if this game was played last week. That’s because Harry Kane is back from injury, and he scored against West Brom on Sunday. Kane needs time on the pitch, so he is likely to feature at some time, perhaps even from the start. Tottenham’s win on Sunday ended a run of three straight defeats. Away form has seen Tottenham only lose one of their last six league and cup games, the 1-0 loss at Brighton last week. Seven of their last nine away games in all competitions have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. Min Son is the engine of this team, his greatest virtue is speed, and he has excellent ball control and can be satisfied with his performance. With his positive energy, Jose Mourinho drives the team in every game, and finally, his team scores goals.
It will be a very solid clash in which both sides will have the opportunity to move on. It will not be surprising if the game ends in a draw.
We can expect a big fight between these two teams, and both of them should be able to score. We don’t believe either side will keep the clean sheet.
