Reason for West Ham vs Aston Villa Predictions

West Ham United’s form in the second half of the season hasn’t been as strong as their performances in the first half of the campaign. However, they remain firmly in the race to finish in a Champions League place this term, as they sit in sixth place and currently sit just three points behind Arsenal. Of course, their chances of achieving that finish are now out of their hands, as both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have games in hand over the Hammers. West Ham has also won just once in their previous four attempts and was beaten for the ninth time this season last weekend. West Ham has an excellent record against the Villa, as they are unbeaten in the previous seven meetings between the sides. The Villa haven’t won away at West Ham since April 2011. Declan Rice has excellent ball control, he can play in several positions, and every team needs such a player. Jarrod Bowen is a great player, he creates a lot of problems for his opponents, and the greatest virtue of this guy is speed. Nearly everyone is up for selection, with just a single fitness concern for the West Ham United manager David Moyes to be concerned with from an otherwise complete group of players. Angelo Ogbonna (Cruciate Ligament Rupture) is out of contention.

Aston Villa’s recent form has picked up, and they will be looking for a win this weekend to move into the top half of the standings. If they can maintain the performance levels that we have seen in recent weeks, then they could still have an outside chance of finishing in a Europa Conference League place this season. The Villa was scintillating last weekend against Southampton at Villa Park, as they beat their in-form opponents 4-0. Philippe Coutinho was the star of the show for the hosts, as he scored and had a hand in two of the other goals. Ollie Watkins is a great striker, and he scored 14 goals last season. Leon Bailey enjoys the pitch, and when he receives the ball and heads towards the goal, the opponent has problems because he goes through the defense like a fast train. Marvelous Nakamba (Knee Injury) misses out on this game.

Conclusion

There are no favorites in this match, and we won’t be surprised if this clash could end in a draw.
