Five wins and a draw in the Hammers’ past seven games have raised hereto unfathomable hopes of Champions League qualification for David Moyes’ side. That upturn, plus a slight Hammers dip – below-par in the Cup against United after being held to a goalless draw by Fulham – makes this one much, much harder to call than it would have been a month or so ago. David Moyes switched to three center-backs after Ogbonna and replacement Diop were both forced off at Old Trafford, with Vladimir Coufal and Aaron Cresswell comprising a makeshift back three alongside Craig Dawson. Declan Rice has excellent ball control, he can play in several positions, and every team needs such a player. Jarrod Bowen is also a tremendous player, and in the one-on-one game, he is unstoppable. Much is expected of this guy this season, and he is the future of English football.
Meanwhile, three of Sheffield United’s six victories since the turn of the year have come in the FA Cup, but they have still given themselves a glimmer of a chance of pulling off the greatest of all great escapes. Some might scoff at the Blades’ victims’ list – and with Newcastle, West Brom, Bristol Rovers, Plymouth, and Bristol City, they might have a point. But Chris Wilder’s men also pulled off one of the most jaw-dropping results of the season during that spell by winning 2-1 at Old Trafford against title-chasing Manchester United. We are not confident enough to revive the Blades to suggest an away win, given their hosts’ caliber, but the fact remains that they beat United and lost just one goal to Manchester City and Chelsea. Sheffield United doesn’t ship goals by the bucketload for a team in their position, but they do concede in virtually every game (just one clean sheet all season). Ethan Ampadu has excellent ball control, he can play in several positions, and every team needs such a player. Lys Mousset is a great player, he creates a lot of problems for his opponents, and the greatest virtue of this guy is speed. The bench players are expected to show as much as possible and impose themselves on the coach for the starting lineup.

West Ham is the favorite in this match, Moyes has found a recipe for victories, and the winning streak is expected to continue.
