Reason for Wolves vs Arsenal Predictions

Wolves’ 1-0 defeat to Norwich in the fourth round of the FA Cup was their first defeat in five matches in all competitions. Still, they remain unbeaten in the Premier League since their narrow loss away at Manchester City at the beginning of December. In fact, of the seven defeats Wolves have suffered in the league this term, five of them came against teams that finished inside last season’s top five. Going out of the FA Cup obviously wasn’t ideal for Wanderers, particularly given Bruno Lage named a relatively strong starting line-up, but the league is the priority, particularly with the Old Gold currently just four points behind fourth-place Manchester United with a game in hand. Ruben Neves has excellent ball control, he can play in several positions, and every team needs such a player. Many clubs are willing to give a fortune for his arrival. Daniel Podence is the engine of this team, his greatest virtue is speed, he has excellent ball control, and he can be satisfied with his performance. Jonny Otto (Knee Injury), Yerson Mosquera (Hamstring Injury), Hee-chan Hwang (Hamstring Injury), Willy Boly (Leg Injury), and Matija Sarkic (Shoulder Injury) are unavailable for Wolves boss Bruno Lage.

The winter break couldn’t have come at a better time for Arsenal; they needed it to restrategize after a poor start to 2022. The Gunners go to this game winless in their last five games and have failed to score in the previous four matches. So far in 2022, they’ve scored just one goal in the 2-1 loss to Manchester City on New Year’s Day. They have suffered three defeats in their last five matches, and twice they’ve conceded two goals, but they have two clean sheets too. By the time they face Wolves, Arsenal will have rested for 17 days, and they should be able to do better than in the 0-0 draw with Burnley on January 23rd. Emile Smith Rowe shows his talent and should be one of the leading players in the future. Nicolas Pepe showed why he was brought in. He has good dribbling, and speed is his advantage.

Conclusion

It will be a big battle between these two teams, and it will not be surprising if the match ends in a draw.

We can also expect a goal in both nets, and neither side should keep the clean sheet.
