Reason for Turkey vs Wales Predictions

Both Wales and Turkey were outplayed in their opening fixtures at Euro 2020 though Wales managed to rally and win a point as Turkey was well beaten. Wales drew 1-1 with Switzerland as Turkey lost 3-0 to Italy. Now the two sides face-off, hoping to take control of their destinies as far as the competition is concerned. Turkey was outmuscled entirely by Italy, and to stay in this competition, they can’t afford another loss. In their opening game, they failed to register a shot on target but seeing that Wales is much weaker would motivate Turkey. They will enjoy some good support in Baku and should be able to restore their earlier performance, having gone unbeaten in the six matches before the loss to Italy. That defeat was the second time in seven games that they failed to score, and having scored two or more goals in five of the seven, they’ll want to be more explorative against Wales. Kenan Karaman enjoys the pitch, and when he receives the ball and moves towards the goal, the opponent has problems. He is strong, and his most significant strength is speed. Burak Yilmaz is experienced, he is doing great in the penalty area, and he means a lot to the national team.

Wales came from behind to draw with Switzerland and should have been satisfied by the result and not their performance. They were dominated in the game and only managed a point because of wastefulness from the Swiss. Rob Page’s side has just one loss in their last five matches and will be confident enough of handling Turkey. With their final game in this group against Italy, Wales will want to get as much as possible from this clash. With a scoring run that has seen them hit the net in six of their last eight matches, they have the needed quality. The manager has already indicated there could be changes for the second game. Still, while he has Harry Wilson among his options, there’s little likelihood he will swap him with Kiefer Moore, the scorer of the equalizer against Switzerland. Daniel James is the engine of this team, he goes through the defense of the opponent like a fast train, he has excellent ball control, and he can be satisfied with his games.

Conclusion

It will be a big battle between these two teams, and it will not be surprising if the match ends in a draw. We can also expect a goal in both nets, and neither side should keep the clean sheet.
